With the fossil fuel costs rising, many people are looking to build more energy efficient homes so as to decrease their energy bills in the long term.

2. In some Countries there are also tax incentives for people for anyone who build an energy efficient home and so you can reduce your overall building costs
3. It is now recognized that by building a new energy efficient home it will increase in value as the number of families searching for this type of home is increasing every year.
4. It is personally very rewarding knowing that you are doing your part for the environment when you have built an energy efficient home. It has been estimated that sixteen percent of greenhouse gasses produced in the United States every year come from energy that is used in homes. So the less energy that is used in homes, the less greenhouse gas is produced.
5. By building an energy efficient home you also find that the inside temperature is more constant and you are protected against cold, heat, drafts, and also moisture which may be the source of family health issues.
6. Energy efficient homes are usually built with less chemical based products and so the air quality inside the house will be better than when all those chemical based products release their gases in regular new homes
7. In a carefully thought out building project when the renovation plan or project brief is prepared before designing and constructing your project the added overall cost to the project can often be the same as when traditional building materials are used.
